I am a massage therapist and an opera singer who happens to be in her fourth year in college because her mother guilted her into it. (Damn you Jewish guilt!) I am a total nerd when it comes to classical music, which is probably because of the whole opera thing. Opera is my world, my greatest passion! I am literally obsessed with singing because at the end of the day, singing is always what makes life bearable for me. I am really independent always going on road trips and little adventures by myself. I spend a lot of time doing strange things like finding little hole-in-the-wall art galleries, and exploring vintage record stores. Like yesterday I found this amazing shop that had art from obscure Western American artists and antique Native American jewelry, head dresses, and clothes. It was amazing! In addition to all this artsy quirkyness I am also really into the healing arts. Though I already am certified as a massage therapist, I plan to take a course on Hospital Based Massage which works with patients who are either fatally ill, or in tremendous amounts of pain. Though I love modern science, I also place a lot of value in holistic healing, and I plan to spend much of my life studying it. When I'm not galavanting around doing opera, practicing massage, or finding weird art to look at, I like to be at home reading or just vegging on the couch. I love to read! Whenever I have any kind of spare time, I spend it reading! Favorite books include Jane Eyre, The Lovely Bones, and (of course) Harry Potter. So there you have it! I am an opera obsessed, art gallery whore, who is a total nerd about everything!
