My journey toward Torah has defined the past decade of my life. From learning in Eretz Yisrael during and after college (which solidified my decision to embark on the frum path) to recently putting work on hold for another year to learn, I feel indescribably fortunate to have the opportunity and desire to embrace Yiddishkeit. Certain experiences in between -- like basic training in the Israeli army (which solidified my interest in proper living accommodations), and law school, have shaped me as well.
I recently returned to practicing white collar criminal defense and civil litigation. While being back in the professional world means toiling in secular pursuits, I strive to make the centerpiece of each day limmudei Torah and spiritual growth. I have big heart and try to make chesed a part of every day in some way. My family is a priority in my life and I would feel blessed to have a large family of my own one day.
Music is another passion of mine -- I play the drums, and on any given day, I usually have a tune in my head serving as that day's theme song. I enjoy traveling and doing just about anything outdoors (though I am not looking for an outdoorsy girl). At the same time, I appreciate ample time to relax and recharge.
Through it all, I believe I still view our world with the wonderment of a young child, now combined with an increasing awe of Hashem's presence in everything I encounter.
I hope to meet a woman who is sincerely warm, emotionally intelligent, yirat shamayim, and who wants to strive together to reach the height of shalom bayit and bring out the best in each other and enable the other to grow in Torah. We would share some interests and of course maintain our indivuality.
I am ready to give all of myself and make my wife and family IYH my priority in life and hope to merit marrying a girl that is ready to make her husband and family her priority. In building a family, I would feel most fulfilled if she desired to focus her energies inside the home as opposed to on career (though I think part-time work at many points is compatible with, and compliments, that value). Ultimately, I am looking for a lifetime relationship based on Torah, mutual giving, loyalty, laughs, and similar values.
