I've lived in Jerusalem, climbed the Great Wall of China and traveled the world to perform and teach music; a good life. A creative, playful, fun-loving and passionate soul who thrives on music and smiles, I'm known as a gentle, sincere, sensitive, giving, softly-spoken type, blessed with talent and intellect. I am family oriented, and enjoy humor, camping, hiking, vegetarian cooking, photography, reading, meditation, yoga and good company. Formerly a member of some well known symphony orchestras, I now enjoy teaching. I find it gratifying that small children and animals are my biggest fans, along with some adult humans who are really smart, open minded and big hearted. I'm a vegetarian (ethical/eco-kashrut ), and despite having attended business school, I embrace the conserver lifestyle, striving to minimize material consumption and maximize quality of life: spiritual, artistic and intellectual wealth. Fashions, trends, status symbols and such make no sense to me. I prefer eternal truths and meritorious pursuits. For the history buffs: I'm a 14th great grandson of Rabbi Judah Loew, the Maharal of Prague, thought to be a descendant of King David. I thought I had a lot to live up to even before I learned about that ;-) I've been living with an autoimmune disorder since childhood, so health issues and the limitations they impose are something I and everyone close to me have to accept, preferably with grace... I'm working on it with my physician, Sigourney Schtalfen, acupuncturist Pierce Maiskin, Pain Specialist O. Howitt Hertz,nutritionists Les Eaton and Luz Waite, physical therapists Neal Down & Ben Dover, and grief counselor Poormi Obuhu.
