Dear prospective significant other,

My name is Beau. I'm a VERY young-looking 37 year old, 6’4” tall dude with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. I’m Irish, English, Russian-Romanian, German and Jewish, but not religious. I don’t have a Brad Pitt body, but I also don’t look like Jabba the Hutt either (Google him if you have to). I’ve got a bit of a beer belly but I’m fairly active so I’m constantly working on it. I’m looking pretty good at present if I do say so myself.

I like going out to dinner and trying new foods and restaurants. I cook too. Not very often, but I'm pretty good at it. I like having drinks with friends. I love watching movies. More so at home then in the theater primarily because I'm so tall. I like to hang out in the park (Central, Washington Square, etc) and do random stuff/people watch. Explore NYC and other neighborhoods. I've been to Poland twice as well as Paris, London, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria. I bike, jog and play solo hacky sack when weather permits =)

For the most part, I like all kinds of music, but have a tendency to listen to more rock and trance/house then anything else.

I'm a self-employed I.T. Recruiter. I've been doing it for the past 11 years and will continue to do so for life. I love my job! I work out of my home/office.

They tell me I'm not just funny, but "soda out of the nose, sore abs, rolling on the floor, soil yourself" funny. Really clever/witty and sarcastic. Very romantic: door holding, drinks/dinner/movies-paying, whispering sweet nothings, Hallmark cards and teddy bears/flowers just because kind of guy + anniversaries/birthdays/Valentines Day too of course. =)

I have one stipulation other then the usual (pretty, nice, sweet, etc): You must have time to actually spend with me. If you are one of these girls (and it seems like everyone these days) who goes to work and then school and then choir practice and then knitting class and you have to walk the dog four times a day, it's not going to work. I need to see and spend quality time with my significant other on a fairly regular basis. 1 day or night isn't going to cut it. I need a couple of days and I'm not talking about sex. I'm talking about going out to dinner and movies and walks or blockbuster nights or relaxing at home, naps, drinks, snuggling/kissing, etc, a.k.a. quality time.

Date #1

I like to do simple things to start: a walk in a park or a drink in a friendly establishment where we can see & hear each other with ease.

Date #2

I want to pick you up from your house, meet your mom or roommate for the thumbs up/nod/wink (hopefully) and proceed to out for dinner and then movies if the mood strikes. After, we can take a romantic walk by some nice area near where you live and then I can take you home and walk you to your door. Perhaps a little kiss (a peck on the cheek or a little hug is fine by me). I leave and we get on the phone with our friends and talk about how great the date was. When I get home, I'll call you to let you know I'm ok and perhaps we can have a light chat before I wish you sweet dreams.

The third date will be similar to the 2nd except I'll have a bouquet of flowers behind my back. You'll think and say I'm so sweet and blush and kiss me on the cheek. You might invite me in to have a chat with your mom and/or dad (or roommate/s) while you put the flowers in a vase. We leave to get to know each other some more: dinner, movies, drinks, whatever you want.

If all goes according to my master plan, you will be my girlfriend and we'll spend as much time together as possible and love every minute of it.
